HBO discounts Game of Thrones merchandise for its Winter Sale

With the end of 2017 around the corner, HBO has decided to offload some of its choice merchandise — Game of Thrones and otherwise — by having a Winter Sale. Everything from clothing to drinkware is anywhere from 10% to 80% off, so if you’re looking to go a post-Christmas Game of Thrones shopping spree, now would be the time.

Let’s have a look at some of the stuff on offer, shall we?

This being a winter sale, the first item to catch our eye is this Lannister blanket, the price of which has come down quite a bit on sale.

According to the reviews, there’s a reason for the drastic reduction, with people calling the blanket thin and the symbol faded. Of course the Lannisters would rip you off.

Keeping with the winter theme, these House Stark gloves are going for $29.99 (down from $44.99) should keep your hands nice and toasty through the long night without end, or at least that’s what you can tell confused friends and family.

Next, we have the Hand of the King bottle opener. This really is a no-brainer for any self-respecting Game of Thrones fan who also likes beer. And it’s a steal at $13.50 (down from $14.99, so it must have still been selling well)!

Once you have alcohol at the ready, you’ll want to pour it into an appropriately marked glass. One answer: a variety of stemless wine glasses, including ones emblazoned with the sigils of House Targaryen and House Stark.

Fire cannot kill a dragon, but can a Jäger Bomb? You can see for yourself with this set of dragon egg shot glasses.

Tully shot glasses are also in the mix. And Seven Kingdoms champagne flutes. There’s Game of Thrones-themed drinkware everywhere. Pick your poison.

You can also get your Funko fix with this Jon and Bran two-pack for $22.50 (down from $24.99).

Why do they both seem so angry? Oh, right, their whole family was murdered. Nevermind.

This last item is probably one of my favorites: a House Stark shield backpack. This makes me want to go back to school just so I could wear it to classes every day. $62.99 is the price you’ll pay for letting everyone know the North remembers to bring extra pens and notebooks to class.
