Maisie Williams adds Tom Hanks to Arya’s kill list, promises Game of Thrones will “go out with a bang”

Maisie Williams is currently making the rounds promoting her new movie, Early Man, where she voices a Bronze Age vendor named Goona.  She stopped by The Graham Norton Show this past Friday, appearing alongside Tom Hanks and boxer Anthony Joshua, and delighted her fellow panelists by kinda-sorta threatening to kill them.

It makes more sense when you watch it:

I enjoy how Williams conceives of Arya’s thirst for revenge, that it’s what kept her going through her many trials and tribulations. However, on the show, her list has dwindled down to pretty much just Cersei and the Mountain — we haven’t heard her talk about Beric Dondarrion, Thoros of Myr, or the Red Woman for a long while. You think she’s still nursing those grudges?

Norton also talked about Maisie Williams being one of several Game of Thrones stars to appear on a line of stamps from The Royal Mail:

You can see the full selection of stamps here. Other characters featured include Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, Jaime Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen, and a bunch more.

Elsewhere, Williams talked to BANG Showbiz about what’s coming in Game of Thrones season 8, which is due out sometime in 2019. “I’m sad that it’s coming to an end but this series is so wonderful and I’m so proud of it,” she said. “The story is just so good that we’re going to go out with a bang for sure!”

That’s good and vague; it’s like Williams has done this before. We do have some idea of what kind of a bang she’s talking about, but proceed with extreme caution.
