Con of Thrones 2018 is now taking submissions for programming

Ever wanted to share your thoughts on Robert’s Baratheon’s fiscal policies? Or to go into detail about the culture and economy of the mysterious city of Asshai by the Shadow is? If so, Con of Thrones has an opportunity for you. Ahead of its second annual outing this May in Dallas, TX, the convention is seeking programming suggestions from fans. If you have something to say about Game of Thrones and/or A Song of Ice and Fire, here’s your chance to hold a panel about it!

The first Con of Thrones, held in Nashville last year, was chock a block with panels, with subjects as diverse as the role of race on the show, a debate about which character would be the best ruler of Westeros, the ethics of spoilers, potential spinoffs, Euron Greyjoy’s Lovecraftian bent, and much more. For this year’s convention, any and all suggestions are welcome, and if your proposal is accepted, you’ll receive a complimentary pass for the day of your panel. Submit your suggestions through the Con of Thrones website, and make history. Proposals must be submitted by Friday, March 2.

In addition to panels, Con of Thrones 2018 will feature celebrity guests. Confirmed guests so far include Esmé Bianco (Ros), Kate Dickie (Lysa Arryn) and Aimee Richardson (Myrcella Baratheon), with more to come. Previous guests included Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton), Miltos Yerolemou (Syrio Forel), and Roger Ashton-Griffiths (Mace Tyrell), among others.

Tickets are currently on sale here. Con of Thrones 2018 will run from May 25-27. In addition to all the panels, attendees are in for interviews with the cast and crew, workshops, cosplay contests, theme parties and more! Additional information, including guidance about hotels and the venue, can be found at the Con of Thrones website.
