WiC Live: How will Game of Thrones conclude? We blather about endgame fan theories

facebooktwitterreddit

Every week, we take to our Facebook page to talk through the latest news related to Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire. It’s WiC Live, and you can watch it above.

Things were a little different this week. Usually, FanSided’s own Josh Hill comes on for the second half of the show for a segment called A Song of Dan and Josh, wherein he and I read through the Song of Ice and Fire novels a couple chapters at a time and analyze them for theme, plot, character…all that good stuff. He’s never read the books, I’ve read them too much — it’s ever so wacky.

Unfortunately, he’s under the weather, so nuts to that. Instead, we take the opportunity to chat about some off-the-wall Game of Thrones fan theories, since we’ve all got one.

Or ARE they off the wall? One theory in particular caught our eye, a comprehensive number that predicts how season 8 will go in detail. Which parts could conceivably happen? Which are crocks? Let’s dive in:

We’ll be back this upcoming Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. CST for more WiC Live, hopefully with a recovered Josh Hill in tow. (We’re still reading through A Game of Thrones, by the way — we have Catelyn V and Sansa II on tap.) Hope to see you there!

Next: Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) is undergoing combat training in preparation for Game of Thrones season 8, surprising no one
