(The actors behind) Daenerys and Ygritte come together, and other celebrity happenings

The Game of Thrones team is in the midst of filming season 8, but the cast and crew have more than proven they are accomplished multitaskers. What is everyone up to? Let’s find out.

If you’re Jon Snow, you’ve only loved two women your entire life, and you probably don’t want them getting together to compare notes. Or maybe you do, I dunno. Anyway, here’s a picture of Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) smiling along with Harington’s real-life fiancee Rose Leslie (Ygritte).

They. Are. So. Adorable. the post collected over 2 million likes in 24 hours, so it blew everyone else’s mind too.

Speaking of adorable, Carice van Houten (Melisandre) took a video involving herself, a Funko Pop! doll based on her character, and her son Monte. The result is cuteness itself.

I wonder if her other baby from season 2 is talking yet.

Moving on, Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) is thinking about what she’ll do after Game of Thrones is over. Talking to Metro, she said she wants to do something where she isn’t “sad all the time. Something that is not so dark and upsetting.”

Incidentally, she’s currently starring in an animated feature about the bronze age. Goal achieved.

Williams plans to keep going down that route, but is mindful of everything Game of Thrones has done for her. “I am in a really lucky position after the show to be able to pick and choose what I can do, and take time to figure out what works best.”

Finally, Entertainment Weekly reports that Game of Thrones composer Ramin Djawadi is adding to his already impressive resume by contributing music to Disney’s upcoming adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time, directed by Ava DuVernay. The movie will also feature original songs by the likes of Demi Lovato, Sia, Sade and more.

Besides scoring two massive TV hits in Game of Thrones and Westworld, Djawadi was plenty of big budget film experience, having composed the original scores for Iron Man, Clash of the Titans, Pacific Rim, Warcraft and The Great Wall. With Wrinkle, he’s poised to become bigger than ever.
