Westworld Season 2, Episode 1 live stream (“Journey into Night”): Watch online
Tonight, Westworld makes its triumphant return to TV. It has been almost a year and a half since we last visited our favorite Delos destination, but in the season 2 premiere, only two weeks will have passed since Dolores Abernathy (Evan Rachel Wood) killed her creator Dr. Robert Ford (Anthony Hopkins) and sparked the beginning of the host uprising. Here’s the season 2 trailer.
As expected, HBO is keeping details about the season 2 premiere close to the vest, but we do have some info. First, the title is “Journey into Night.” If you watched season 1, then you will recognize the title as the name of Dr. Ford’s final narrative.
Also, HBO has released some photos, like this one of Ed Harris returning to the role of the villainous Man in Black.
Maeve Millay (Thandie Newton) decided not to take the Delos train to the outside world in the season 1 finale.
Instead, she made her first real, un-programmed choice: to stay in the park and look for her daughter. Accompanying her on that trek is Delos lead narrator Lee Sizemore (Simon Quarterman):
From a brief glimpse in the season 2 trailer, it looks like Hector Escaton (Rodrigo Santoro) might join Maeve and Lee at some point.
Of course, Dolores Abernathy (Evan Rachel Wood) is back, leading the hosts as they rid Westworld of its human infection.
Teddy Flood (James Marsden) will be by Dolores’ side.
Westworld newcomer Fares Fares will play Antoine Costa, a tech expert helping Delos make sense of what happened in the season 1 finale.
From left to right: Betty Gabriel as Maling, Luke Hemsworth as Ashley Stubbs, Gustaf Skarsgård as Karl Strand, and Jeffrey Wright as Bernard Lowe.
Here’s Bernard again, walking among members of the Delos security team.
In this shot, we’ve got Bernard talking to Delos board member Charlotte Hale (Tessa Thompson)
Finally, we’ve got Angela (Talulah Riley). You may remember her as the host who greeted William (Jimmi Simpson) on his first visit to Westworld.
Here’s HBO’s cryptic synopsis for the episode: “The puppet show is over, and we are coming for you and the rest of your kind. Welcome back to Westworld.”
