Korean trailer for Westworld season 2 reveals new footage

The second season premiere of Westworld“Journey Into Night,” aired this past Sunday, and HBO followed it up with a trailer for the rest of the season. We saw lots of interesting things, including Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) in a black dress, looking out the window of a building that seems to be outside of the Westworld park; a helicopter flying over the town of Sweetwater; Delos founder James Delos (Peter Mullen) inspecting Dolores and Teddy (James Marsden); Maeve (Thandie Newton) wielding a samurai sword; and more. It’s all very exciting.

Now, YouTube channel TCAST has uploaded a Korean trailer for Westworld season 2, and it has yet more unseen footage. Watch it below:

FYI, the song that plays in the background is Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black,” which is one of the songs Game of Thrones composer Ramin Djawadi arranged an old-timey version of for the first season.

Anyway, there’s some interesting new footage in here. Let’s break it down.

The first new shots are of Maeve climbing through a hatch…

…that opens up into a graveyard in Westworld.

And she’s got a samurai sword with her, likely picked up during her visit to ShogunWorld. So this must be from later in the season.

Next, we’ve got Maeve and Hector (Rodrigo Santoro) coming face to face with Dolores and Teddy (James Marsden).

This doesn’t exactly look like a happy reunion — Teddy and Hector both have their guns drawn, while Dolores and Maeve stare each other down. Look for this scene to go down in “Reunion,” this Sunday’s new episode.

Next, we have Angela Sarafyan as Clementine Pennyfeather (yes, that’s her last name) menacing Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) with a rifle.

The last two new shots feature members of the renegade Native American group, Ghost Nation.

And here’s Westworld newcomer Zahn McClarnon (The Son) as Akecheta, comforting another member of his tribe…we think.

We saw several members of Ghost Nation in the season 2 premiere, dead on the beach where the Delos security team set up camp. There’s something going on with this group, and I’m excited to see what happens to them in the coming weeks.

Westworld season 2 continues this Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. CST.
