Tonight, Westworld‘s second season continues with Episode 2, “Reunion.” Last Sunday’s premiere saw Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) dealing with the aftermath of Dolores’ host uprising while trying to hide his true identity from the humans around him, most prominently Delos board chair Charlotte Hale (Tessa Thompson)…in one timeline. In another, he woke up on a beach unsure of what had happened to him, surrounded by a Delos rescue team. Meanwhile, Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) gleefully galloped across the countryside slaughtering fleeing Delos board members, Maeve pressured park narrator Lee Sizemore (Simon Quarterman) into helping her look for her daughter, the Man in Black got excited about finally being able to play a game with real consequences, and Teddy (James Marsden) was conflicted, good-hearted sap that he is.
Also, Bernard may have killed hundreds of hosts, including Teddy. You bastard.
We didn’t get a trailer for “Reunion” by itself, but we did get one for the next nine episodes of the show. Watch below:
The synopsis for the coming episode is predictably cryptic. It’s not really a synopsis at all, more of a question we can’t answer: “Why don’t we start at the beginning?” That’s it. Creepy.
HBO also released a few photos ahead of tonight’s episode. First up, Dolores and Maeve look like they’re about to throw down.
Next, Dolores in a black dress. I suppose we’ll find out if this is from a future or past timeline.
Here’s Teddy in the past. I have a preemptive headache just thinking of all the time-hopping we will be doing this week.
And finally, the Man in Black:
