Classic Stills and HBO sell “Hall of Faces” Game of Thrones fine art prints
After successfully releasing several high-quality Game of Thrones fine art prints last year, rare photography distributor Classic Stills is once again partnering with HBO to give fans a new set of images to choose from. This time, all the prints will exclusively feature images of characters in the Hall of Faces, based on the promotional images the show used ahead of season 6.
According to the press release, only 500 numbered prints from the collection will be available. You can peruse them on the Classic Stills website.
"The five images being released are available in limited editions of 25, 100 or 125. Prices range from $149/£125 for 11”x14” prints through to $1,000/£850 for the largest 26”x40” prints, of which only 25 are available. Each artwork is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity to validate the fully-licensed HBO product. The 500 numbered prints are being sold on a first come, first served basis."
Classic Stills CEO Rene Freling is excited to be working with HBO on Game of Thrones prints once more. “We’re thrilled to publish such a stunning and haunting collection of fine art prints,” she said. “The five images, which feature some of the show’s favorite characters, once again demonstrate how well Game of Thrones’ imagery lends itself to high-quality wall art.”
The Hall of Faces images are printed on archival-quality photo paper using a process called chromogenic printing (C-printing). Each print is framed by hand, comes with acid-free matting and hinging, and is protected by UV acrylic to prevent fading. These dead characters will be able to hang ominously above your bed for years without losing their distinctive pallor.
The framed stills are available in the following sizes and quantities:
- 10” x 14”: $149/£125, Two images, 125 prints of each image are available
- 16” x 20” $295/£225, One image, 125 prints available
- 24” x 30”: $495/£395, One image, 100 prints available
- 26” x 40”: $1000/£850, One image, 25 prints available
These Game of Thrones Hall of Faces prints are available for purchase in the US, Canada and Europe.
