Solo: A Star, where she plays Han Solo’s childhood friend Qi’ra. The movie opens tonight, so her long interview march is nearly over…at least until Game of Thrones season 8 rolls around next year.

But she still has a few sound bites left to drop, including a clue about how far along she — and by extension, HBO itself — is in shooting the final season of Game of Thrones. “I’m about three quarters of the way through filming it, if not maybe a little more,” she told ET this week. “I am, yes, utterly heartbroken to be saying goodbye to [Daenerys].”

Hearing that Clarke still has miles left to go should comfort fans who heard her say that she’d filmed the Mother of Dragons’ final scene and assumed the worst. (“It fucked me up,” she said of shooting that scene. “Knowing that is going to be a lasting flavor in someone’s mouth of what Daenerys is…”) As Clarke clarified, the crew shoots the season out of order, so while she may have filmed the last scene of which Daenerys will be a part, it doesn’t mean it’s the last scene of Daenerys’ life. We’ll have to wait until 2019 (or, heaven forbid, a big leak) before we’re sure of anything.

Meanwhile, back in Star Wars world, Clarke isn’t the only Game of Thrones luminary to be swept up in Disney’s mega-franchise. As we all know, showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss are going to work on a series of Star Wars movies after they wrap production on Thrones. What might that looks like? Speaking to Variety, Clarke predicts “Star Wars on acid.”

With Star Wars movies coming out every year now — The Last Jedi came out just five months ago, although it feels longer to me — the franchise may be due for a shakeup. Could the guys who brought the Red Wedding to life be the ones to do it?
