Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke and other Game of Thrones cast members gather in Belfast

We’re now in the final leg of filming on Game of Thrones season 8, and all eyes are on Titanic Studios in Belfast, where the production has both a myriad of indoor sound stages and an enormous King’s Landing set built on a backlot. Recently, there’s been a flurry of cast member sightings in the area. Given that this is the hub of Game of Thrones filming, that’s not unusual, but how many more chances are we going to get to see Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke, still in her Daenerys blonde hair, chatting on the street?

They look very color coordinated here, but that’s beside the point.

There have been other sightings as well, including of Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) and John Bradley (Samwell Tarly)…

…Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister)…

…Lena Headey…

…and Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (Gregor “the Mountain” Clegane) looking like he’s wondering if he can walk through the doorway without having to duck:

Now, the King’s Landing set is still fully operational, but it’s hard to tell if these cast members are in Belfast to shoot scenes there, on the indoor sound stages, or for another reason, or for multiple reasons, or for no reason at all.

Well, no, of course there’s a reason. A Red Priestess has it that they’re gathered to be interviewed by Conan O’Brien, and then for a party later tonight. That would explain why Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) and Sean Bean (Ned Stark) have also been spotted. It could be the wrap party to end all wrap parties. If we’re lucky, we could soon have some images of the cast all gathered in one place, which probably won’t happen too many more times.
