Come Sunday night’s new episode of Westworld, it looks like we’re going to learn all about the mysterious Ghost Nation tribe. Bring on “Kiksuya” (which means “remember” in the Lakota language.)

As it does every week, HBO has released photos from the upcoming episode. There’s at least one new character in there, but a couple of old friends, too, like Wanathon (Martin Sensmeier), who’s appeared several times this season:

Here’s Akecheta (Zahn McClarnon), the leader of the Ghost Nation tribe. You’ll recognize him as the host who helped convince Logan Delos (Ben Barnes) to invest in Westworld back in “Reunion.”

Akecheta, in full war paint:

Cinematography is a strong point for Westworld. “Kiksuya” won’t change that:

Finally, here’s new character Kohana (Julia Jones). We don’t really know much about Kohana, although is seems that she is Akecheta’s wife. Based on the trailer, he’ll witness Delos technicians abduct her, which will assumedly set him on a path to self-discovery and freedom from his narrative.

As always, HBO has provided a synopsis for the episode. As always, it’s unhelpful: “Mi cante ki yu ha ya ye(Take my heart when you go.)” Okay. The episode was written by Carly Wray and Dan Dietz, and directed by Uta Briesewitz.

It looks like this episode will take a detour from the main plot and I’m not sure what to make of that, particularly this late in the season. We’ll see how it shakes down when this Sunday at 9:00 p.m. EST on HBO.
