Take the Black Live: Game of Thrones throws a wrap party, doesn’t wrap

This week, we welcome Culturess’ Cheryl Wassenaar as our new cohost, Kayla Knierim having departed for sunny LA. As for discussion topics, there are plenty:

• The Game of Thrones cast and crew gathered for what sure looked like a series wrap party. It’s the clearest evidence yet that the show really is ending. I mean, we know the show is ending, obviously, but there’s a difference between knowing and feeling. How is the fact of the end sinking in?
• Also, that wrap party looked like a complete rager. Thanks to Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) for taking all the pictures.
• And yet…filming is very much not over. There’s still plenty of activity at the King’s Landing set in Belfast, not to mention Dothraki extras at Saintfield. Also, does Drogon look bigger to anyone else? We sift through the latest set pictures.
• Does Game of Thrones, as a series, have a restraint? A question for the ages.
