Westworld Season 2, Episode 8 live stream (“Kiksuya”): Watch online
Tonight, we hit the three-episodes-remaining mark for Westworld season 2. Episode 208 is titled “Kiksuya,” which translated from the Lakota language means “Remember.”
The promotional material for this episode revolves around members of the Ghost Nation tribe, specifically their leader, Akecheta (Zahn McClarnon). Dolores, Maeve, Bernard, the Man in Black and all the rest are nowhere to be seen. Here’s the trailer:
“Mi cante ki yu ha ya ye. (Take my heart when you go.)” That’s what Akecheta says to his wife Kohana (Julia Jones)…promptly before Delos abducts her. There she goes. And wouldn’t you know it, that phrase is also the synopsis for tonight’s episode.
Composer Ramin Djawadi has really outdone himself this season, and the hauntingly beautiful piano version of the Westworld theme in the trailer is proof that he’s not slowing down.
HBO released five promotional photos ahead of “Kiksuya,” all of them featuring members of the Ghost Nation tribe. First up is Wanathon (Martin Sensmeier), the same guy who tried to take Lee Sizemore (Simon Quarterman) from Maeve (Thandie Newton) in Episode 203, “Virtù e Fortuna.”
Here’s Akecheta without his Ghost Nation war paint…
…and here he is with the paint applied. Much more menacing.
Kohana will play a key part in the episode:
And here’s one of those beautiful cinematic shots Westworld is known for.
