HBO’s Westworld is a show about a fictional theme park where society’s wealthiest individuals can run around a simulated version of the Old West engaging in all sorts of adventures — or “narratives” — alongside its robotic hosts, who serve as everything from tour guides to love interests to arch nemeses. Many of the narratives provide the guests with opportunities to indulge their darkest desires by committing unspeakable acts of violence against the hosts, whereafter the hosts have their memories wiped and are put back into service so they can do it all again.

So the life of a host is difficult…wanna try it?

HBO, Amazon and marketing firm 360i have teamed up to make that happen through an game called “Westworld: the Maze.” You can play it on your Amazon Echo, aka Alexa.

On the show, the Maze is a metaphor for consciousness — a lot of hosts reached the center in the first season. As a host in Amazon’s game, you’ll try to follow suit. According to Wired, which demoed the game firsthand, Westworld: The Maze drops you into the Mariposa Saloon, in the town of Sweetwater. Different characters will interact with you and ask questions as the show’s iconic player piano tinkles in the background. The more you play, the more you learn, and the closer you get to being free.

But be careful: the Maze can be treacherous. According to 360i creative director Andrew Hunter, there are 60 different paths to the center and 32 ways to die, including death by cattle stampede, death by falling off a cliff, and death by coyotes. “There no guarantee that you’ll be put on the same path each time, so you can learn something you might need to know 10 times from now.”

Westworld: The Maze is free and available now; all you have to do is say, “Alexa, open Westworld.” You may recognize some familiar voices; both Jeffrey Wright (Bernard/Arnold) and Angela Sarafyan (Clementine) are part of the experience.

And after that, you can tune into the Westworld season 2 finale this Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. CST on HBO!
