How will Game of Thrones end? The fans speak out

How is Game of Thrones going to end? With filming on the eighth and final season nearly finished, that’s the question on the minds of millions of fans. We’ll have to wait until sometime next year to be absolutely sure, but Game of Thrones fans have never been shy about speculating, us included. When I visited Con of Thrones a few weeks back, I was able to talk to some of those fans and ask them their takes, and you best believe they had opinions. From Jon and Daenerys happily sharing the Iron Throne to literally everyone dying, their theories ran the gamut from grim to glorious. Check out what they had to say, and admire their remarkable cosplay while you’re at it!

A partial list of the theories presented:

• Jon and Daenerys marry, but then Arya kills Daenerys and takes her face.
• Tyrion is a secret Targaryen and ends up on the Iron Throne.
• The White Walkers murder everyone, since the humans are never going going to be able to work together.
• Jaime has to kill Cersei to stop her from destroying King’s Landing.
• The Iron Throne will be melted down and Westeros will be ruled by committee.
• Jon Snow will become the new Night King. Now THAT’S a theory.

Anyway, while we wait to see what happens, what are your theories on how the show will end? In the world of Game of Thrones speculation, there are no answers.
