A list of Game of Thrones characters matched with each of the fifty states according to their personalities.
The Game of Thrones universe is nothing short of gargantuan.
This addictive saga features made-up languages, creates its own geography, and explores the merits of more than a few religions. Heck, there are entire family trees available for the devoted fan to scroll through at their leisure.
More than anything else, though, the cast of characters is a lot. There are so many players in this game, it can often be difficult to keep track of everyone’s names. After all, there’s a reason so many people mistakenly call Daenerys Targaryen “Khaleesi” (seriously, guys, just stop it) or Jorah Mormont “Ser Friend Zone.” Yet even with so many characters knocking around, George R. R. Martin still manages to give all of them unique personalities.
Similarly, each of the 50 U.S. states has its own unique personality and background. This country is massive, so states on one coast or the other really couldn’t be more different from one another.
With that in mind, I think it’s safe to say that for every state in the U.S., there’s a Game of Thrones character to match. Is your state known for its long history, like the Stark family? Do tourists only ever come calling to visit your state’s natural wonders, as Bran or Jojen do when they go beyond the Wall? Are you living in a bustling city the size of King’s Landing, or in the middle of the country like people in the Riverlands? Whatever your state’s personality, it’s covered here. Check out our list matching different Game of Thrones characters to each of the 50 states.
