A lot has happened since last we checked in for our weekly Game of Thrones news roundup: Maisie Williams (Arya Stak) got a nifty tattoo, George R.R. Martin fiddled with the Targaryen family tree for his new novel Fire & Blood, and during the annual gathering of the Television Critics Association (TCA), HBO’s man in charge revealed that season 8 would air in the first half of 2019! At this week’s TCAs HBO revealed an approximate time for when season 8 would air, as well as when the Age of Heroes prequel would begin filming.
