The Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience begins its North American leg on September 6 at Seattle’s KeyArena, with composer Ramin Djawadi conducting a full orchestra through the show’s iconic music, complete with plentiful pyrotechnics. In anticipation of the upcoming dates, organizer Live Nation is giving fans an up-close look at Djawadi and company during a dress rehearsal. Check out the video:

That one cellist is wearing armor plating on his shoulders; you all saw it.

“Bringing the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience to audiences earlier this year was a dream come true, dating back to an idea hatched over three years ago,” Djawadi said. “The scale and spectacle of the production brought the world of Westeros to life in a truly immersive fashion, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share the experience with fans.”

The original Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience was an utter blast, and with the benefit of experience on their side — plus new songs from the show’s seventh season — this go-round should be even better. We wouldn’t expect any advance looks at the music from season 8, though.
