Jimmi Simpson to star in Epix drama series, ‘Our Lady, LTD’

Westworld’s Jimmi Simpson has been cast in the upcoming Epix drama series, Our Lady, LTD alongside the iconic Ben Kingsley!
Jimmi Simpson aka William/Man in Black is making some big moves and is headed to streaming service Epix next to star in a co-lead role opposite of Ben Kingsley, according to Deadline. The series is a 10-episode noir drama from the creator of Patriot, Steve Conrad and MGM Television (sister studio of Epix).
Our Lady, LTD or formerly known as Our Lady of Perpetual Grace, follows Simpson’s character James who is a young grifter. James will prey (yikes!) upon Kingsley’s character, Pastor Byron Brown and let’s just say, things will get intense, really intense.
Simpson’s character is a disgraced firefighter who takes a chance to turn his life around albeit the opportunity that arises is not exactly legal. And not surprisingly, the plan is horrendously derailed which requires James to pull all his willpower together to survive through the mess he has landed himself in.
Patriot co-producer Bruce Terris will serve as an executive producer and showrunner alongside Conrad who is also set to direct six of the episodes this season. Production will begin in Santa Fe, New Mexico in the fall with an anticipated premiere date sometime in 2019.

Considering Westworld season 3 is most likely not returning until 2020, seeing Jimmi Simpson on television in some capacity will keep us going until he returns (hopefully!). Simpson received a Guest Actor Emmy nomination for his work on Westworld season 2 and was also recently seen in USA’s Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G..
