Westworld: Jimmi Simpson prepares for the Emmys

Emmy nominee Jimmi Simpson of Westworld is getting suited up in preparation for the 2018 Emmys ceremony on Monday, September 17th–and he looks fabulous!

Westworld is nominated for a number of Emmys including Jimmi Simpson’s nomination for guest actor in a drama series. The Emmys are one of the most exciting events of the award season because members of the industry vote for their peers and it’s truly an honor to be considered for a nomination.

In preparation for the big night, Jimmi Simpson is ditching his scruffy appearance for a look of suave and swag. He recently met with The Hollywood Reporter consultant Andrew Weitz to go over multiple looks for the Emmys.

In the past, Simpson would often show up on the red carpet in a more bummy, scruffy look but his Westworld nomination has him rethinking his game plan for the red carpet and award show. His performance in season 2 was riveting and exciting and although his appearance was brief, it set the stage for where the story was heading.

Simpson truly deserves this nomination and fans are ecstatic to see him being recognized for his performance as the conflicted William. Apart from Westworld, Simpson was most recently seen in USA’s Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. and is starring opposite Ben Kingsley in the upcoming Epix series Our Lady, LTD.

Thanks to Andrew Weitz, founder of The Weitz Effect, Simpson can now upgrade his look for the big night given that the spotlight will be on him now more than ever. Simpson and Weitz have known each other for some time and first met when Weitz was working as a talent agent and took Simpson out for a day of shopping. Simpson recalls this memorable day:

"“He’d heard that I was newly single and that I had no sense of style and could use some help.”"

According to The Hollywood Reporter article, Simpson is now ready to push the boundaries of his fashion and knows Weitz is the man to help him do just that. Take a peek below at the look Simpson will be donning come Emmys night!
