Westworld: Cast shares their enthusiasm for Aaron Paul’s season 3 casting

The Westworld cast shared their thoughts and excitement for Aaron Paul’s season 3 casting on the Emmys golden carpet!

Westworld season 3 is already gearing up to be extremely epic especially with the recent addition of Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul. Fans have already shared their excitement over this casting news but let’s not forget about the cast that will be working with him.

At the Primetime Emmys this past Monday, Ben Barnes, Ed Harris, and Jeffrey Wright shared their thoughts on the recent casting with US Weekly on the red carpet. Harris said, “He’s a wonderful actor, cool guy, so I’m not sure what his character will be, but the more, the better.” We absolutely agree with you, Mr. Harris.

At the HBO afterparty, Wright joked around with the reporter to say that he could send the first script. However, it was Barnes that shared the most excitement and enthusiasm about Paul joining the cast–it’s actually super adorable.

He stated that everything just got more exciting and how he was a huge fan of Breaking Bad. Barnes has met Paul in the past a few times and is super excited for him to come on board.

"“He’s such a kind of unexpected addition to that cast. I wouldn’t have predicted that. When new people are cast that you already know their body of work, you kind of … it’s a catalyst for speculation. I wonder if he’s going to be security at the park or I wonder if he’s going to be a host himself. I wonder what role he’ll be. You can’t ever imagine it as well as the creators of the show can.”"

Barnes couldn’t have said it better as fans are super curious to learn about Paul’s character in season 3. The possibilities are endless in the land of Westworld and given that he could come in as anyone increases the allure and excitement ten-fold.

Paul announced his casting with a Twitter announcement stating, “I feel like I’m in a dream Dolores. Can you wake me up from this dream?” Can you wake us up from this dream, Aaron Paul?

Westworld season 3 does not yet have a premiere date, but based on the previous hiatus, we can assume sometime around 2020 (oh, the agony!).
