Evan Rachel Wood to be a special guest at A Bowie Celebration in San Diego–seriously, how much cooler can she get?
Evan Rachel Wood is the epitome of #goals. Not only does she kick ass on Westworld, but is a singer/performer as well! Coming up, she will be heading to San Diego on Sept. 28th to be a part of “A Bowie Celebration” which gathers alumni musicians of David Bowie’s bands for a tribute to the iconic singer.
Performers from over the years that worked with Bowie will get together for a west coast tour, and Wood will be joining the San Diego show at the end of this month. The critically-acclaimed show is making stops along California and Nevada and will feature band members (according to Rock Revival) Mike Garson, Earl Slick, Carmine Rojas, and Mark Plati.
Vocalists Bernard Fowler, Gaby Moreno, and Joe Sumner will be performing some of Bowie’s biggest hits. Wood will be performing alongside these talented performers and is also a part of the electro-pop music group Rebel and a Basketcase.
Along with the above show, Evan Rachel Wood will also be touring with Zane Carney, Grammy-nominated guitarist and singer/songwriter who has worked with John Mayer and Avril Lavigne. Zane is currently working on a project with Wood titled “EVAN + ZANE” and the two will be touring across the country in coming months.
