Westworld: Ed Harris and Jeffrey Wright participate in Rock the Vote

Westworld stars Jeffrey Wright and Ed Harris, amongst others stood in silence in HBO’s “Rock The Vote” video.

Westworld along with other HBO shows stood in support of encouraging the public to go out and vote in November. In a completely silent video released by HBO, Jeffrey Wright, Ed Harris, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Lena Dunham, Tony Hale, Kumail Nanjiani, Thomas Middleditch, Sarah Jessica Parker, amongst other HBO stars put forth their support for the upcoming vote in November.

The video is less than a minute but epitomizes that silence speaks louder than words as is seen while each actor/actress stands in complete silence looking right into the camera.

The video ends with a simple statement that there is only one voice that needs to be heard–yours. It’s quite the empowering and motivating video and was created by HBO in conjunction with Rock The Vote.

HBO’s partnership with Rock the Vote is giving them a platform to raise awareness surrounding the importance of voting and making sure everyone’s out there filling the ballots when it counts. HBO’s senior VP of corporate social responsibility stated that:

"“The right to vote is one of the most ignored gifts of our democracy. At HBO, we often have programs that give voice to the underrepresented. This partnership with Rock the Vote is us encouraging you to use your voice so that you are heard.”"

Both companies hope this partnership will give young people around the country the boost and motivation to register to vote and take advantage of letting their voices be heard. HBO and Rock the Vote will be working together to hold a voter registration campaign at college campuses across the country.
