The still-untitled series, which will air exclusively on Disney’s new streaming service when it drops at some point in 2019, is rumored to center around the planet of Mandalore, whose people rise from the ashes of the fallen Empire some three years after the death of Emperor Palpatine in Return of the Jedi. Details are few, but one report has it that the show will cost the Mouse upwards of $100 million for 10 episodes. For reference, that’s how much it cost HBO to produce all 10 episodes of Game of Thrones season 6, so you know Disney isn’t messing around.

So who could Pascal be playing? One option is fan-favorite bounty hunter Boba Fett, who was an unaltered clone of his Mandalorian father Jango, as seen in the prequel trilogy. True, Fett was last seen being slowly digesting in the belly of the Sarlacc in Return of the Jedi, but eh, you can write around that.

Assuming the show really is set on Mandalore, I’d expect Pascal to play a leader of one the planet’s clans or houses. Much like on Game of Thrones, the Mandalorian clans pledge fealty to a particular house, and with Mandalore in turmoil, they’re bound to be at war to see who will control the planet.

But that’s just a hunch. Hopefully, we’ll get some news on the series, and Pascal’s potential role in it, soon.
