New York Comic Con is in full swing, and the upcoming Aquaman movie is one of the big tickets items. With charismatic Game of Thrones alum Jason Momoa in the lead role, Aquaman seems poised to be a hit, which is good, because it’s no secret that Warner Bros. has had trouble with its series of movies based on DC superheroes. Will Aquaman turn the tide? Watch the five-minute extended look below, and decide for yourself:

It looks fun enough, and Momoa certainly has a ton of screen presence — there’s a reason people still talk about his performance as Khal Drogo to this day — but I don’t know if this will be enough to right the sinking ship that is the DC Extended Universe. But then again, maybe it doesn’t need to; maybe it’s enough to be a fun flick about a guy in an orange-and-green jumpsuit who talks to fish. We’ll find out when it hits theaters on December 21.

Really quick, let’s see what a couple other GoT alumni are up to. Carice van Houten (Melisandre) hangs out with RuPaul’s Drag Race royalty…
