Avengers 4, the sequel to 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, has officially wrapped filming. The directors of the film, Joe and Anthony Russo tweeted a cryptic image to celebrate the blessed event:
Of course, the internet went bonkers trying to figure out just what that object is:
Looks like the headlamp of a car to me, but then again, there’s a reason I’m not a mechanic.
At least one fan has guessed that it may be Captain American’s casket, rumors of the character’s death having run wild since star Chris Evans tweeted this melancholy message a couple weeks back:
That sounds like a final farewell to me. However, Evans sort of walked this back during an appearance at the ACE Comic Con in Chicago, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “I should clarify that, I know I did tweet something that made a lot of people think that it was in some way a spoiler, and I should clarify that, regardless of how Avengers 4 ends, I would’ve tweeted the exact same thing,” he said.
"That last day of filming really was a very emotional day. It was the culmination of almost 10 years of filming and 22 movies — this unbelievable tapestry — and you feel a lot more emotions than I think even I thought I’d feel, and I felt it was appropriate to share the gratitude. I know it had a ripple effect, but I am neither confirming nor denying anything."

Anyway, if you plan on analyzing the glowing object in the tweet at the top of this post, you may want to do it in conjunction with his other cryptic tweet from the Russo Brothers from back in September:
I have been looking hard, Russo Brothers, and all I see is a ladder that could be the “A” in Avengers. I don’t know if these tweets tell us anything other than that the Russo Brothers are really good at trolling fans. Prove me wrong before Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 19, 2019.
