Evan Rachel Wood says she is down for Practical Magic sequel

Evan Rachel Wood is down to reprise her role as Kylie Owens in the 1998 film, Practical Magic.
Evan Rachel Wood has been a part of the industry since she was a child and earlier this week, Netflix’s social media manager, Jarett Wieselman, took to Twitter to say that Wood should come back for a sequel to reprise her role on Practical Magic.
This tweet came on the day of the film’s 20th anniversary, and Wood responded on Twitter to say that she would be so down to do a second movie. Yes, please. We insist.
Evan Rachel Wood played the role of Kylie Evans, who is the oldest daughter of Sally Owens, played by Sandra Bullock. The film released in 1998 and was based off a novel by the same name. It had quite the stellar cast along with Wood and Bullock that included Nicole Kidman, Dianne Wiest, and Stockard Channing.
Kidman played the role of Sally’s sister, Gillian Owens, and she and Bullock reminisced their time together on Practical Magic earlier this year on the Oscars red carpet. Seeing everyone come back together for a sequel would be all kinds of epic, and we are so here for it!
Wood has made a name for herself throughout the years and of course, most recently as Dolores Abernathy on Westworld. Coming up, she will be seen in a movie titled Viena and the Fantomes with the most epic cast ever including Dakota Fanning, Zoe Kravitz, Frank Dillane, and Jon Bernthal.
The movie is about a roadie that travels across North America with a punk rock band in the 1980’s. We don’t know about you, but this sounds absolutely amazing–and we can’t wait to see Evan Rachel Wood let out her inner punk girl (we hope!).
