James Marsden is one of many stars in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

James Marsden is set to be in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood amongst the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie.

James Marsden is joining an all-star cast for Quentin Tarantino’s Charles Manson movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. While this news was announced earlier in the summer, we had to revisit it because we’re so excited our beloved Teddy is part of this epic project.

As of now, it is unknown who exactly James Marsden is playing, but given the number of people that were involved and frequented the Manson mansion, the possibilities are endless. There is a lot of hype surrounding this movie as it has said to be Tarantino’s final movie–ever.

So, the fact that James Marsden will be a part of it is huge news for our adorable cowboy. He will be joining a number of A-list stars, check out the list below taken from Variety and who they will be playing!

  • Damien Lewis: Steve McQueen
  • Luke Perry: Scotty Lancer
  • Emile Hirsch: Jay Sebring the hairstylist
  • Dakota Fanning: Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme (part of the Manson family)
  • Clifton Collins: Ernesto the Mexican Vaquero
  • Keith Jefferson: Land Pirate Keith
  • Nicholas Hammond: Director Sam Wanamaker
  • Leonardo DiCaprio: Rick Dalton
  • Brad Pitt: Cliff Booth
  • Margot Robbie: Sharon Tate

Tarantino will be directing, writing, and producing the film which is set to release on August, 9th 2019 on the 50th anniversary of the Manson family murders of the LaBianca murders and the day after Tate’s murder.

Other notable cast members include Al Pacino, Timothy Olyphant, and Burt Reynolds. Seriously, could this cast get any better? And we can’t wait to see Marsden be in the midst of all of them!

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood takes place circa 1969 in Los Angeles and focuses on the two lead characters, Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) and his stunt double, Cliff Booth (Pitt). They are trying to get back into Hollywood, but it’s not what it used to be but they come to learn that Dalton lives next to famous star Sharon Tate (Robbie).
