Ingrid Bolso Berdal starred in a Norwegian slasher inspired by the John Carpenter iconic horror film franchise, Halloween.
Ingrid Bolso Berdal was a force to be reckoned with as Armistice on Westworld season 2. And we fell in love with her relentless ways, and ability to kick ass at any given moment. And while the future of her Westworld days is unknown, in the past she tapped into a completely different genre–horror.
Recently, a continuation of John Carpenter’s Halloween was released and it made a name for itself regardless of the movies that came before it. Whether or not people appreciated the manner in which the story was presented, there seems to be another horror movie franchise that hoped to take the world by storm in a similar fashion when it first came out.
Ingrid Bolso Berdal starred in the 2008 horror film, Cold Prey 2: Resurrection, which is a sequel to Roar Uthaugu’s 2006 film, Cold Prey. Similar in fashion to Halloween and Halloween II, Cold Prey tells it story based on a 48-hour period and across the now two films.
We meet Berdal’s character, Jannicke, in Cold Prey, who go snowboarding off the trail in the Norwegian mountains. However, when one of them is injured, they must seek refuge in an abandoned lodge. It turns out this lodge belongs to a serial killer. Uh oh.
In the sequel, Berdal’s character, Jannicke, comes face-to-face with the serial killer once again when he is brought back to life. The sequel picks up right where the original film left off so there is certainly a continuity in the storyline there.
So, if you’re a fan of Ingrid Bolso Berdal and horror movie franchises, this horror movie franchise may certainly be the one for you. After all, seeing Berdal in a different get-up would be quite the change from her gunslinging attire as Armistice on Westworld.
