Gotham has revealed its take on Bane, and we can’t stop laughing
If you’re a fan of Fox’s Gotham, about the life of a young Bruce Wayne, then we have a treat for you. One of the writers has revealed, via Twitter, a first look at the show’s take on Bane, the supervillain made famous on the big screen by actor Tom Hardy in director Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises.

Okay…
Right off the bat, this version of Bane looks nothing like Tom Hardy’s badass take on the character, mumbly voice included. On the other hand, that may not be a fair comparison. After all, we’re dealing with a vast difference in budget. But back on the first hand, come on, Gotham, what were you thinking?

I know the new Bane looks funny but I can’t quite say why. It might be the shoes:
Personally, West’s Bane reminds me of Hans and Franz from Saturday Night Live. Only if Hans and Franz had asthma.
Gotham will return for its fifth and final season in 2019. Show us what you got, puffy-jacket wearing Bane.
