HBO shows you how to transform into the Night King

It’s Halloween, and people are dressing up as ghouls and goblins and Game of Thrones characters. HBO has responded to demand with a video about how to transform yourself through makeup and prosthetics into the Night King, the most terrifying monster in Westeros, give or take Jon Snow when he hasn’t had a chance to wash his hair in a while.

Between the contacts and the foundation and the prosthetics and the detailing, there’s a lot happening here. Makeup artist Keaghlan Ashley tells us that all the products we need to pull this off are available to buy, but the skills might be harder to come by.

And also it’s probably a little late to construct a Night King costume from scratch if you don’t already have what you need. But who says you only need to dress up as the Night King on Halloween?
