It’s Westworld Woman Crush Wednesday, and today we choose to gush over the beautiful Talulah Riley!

Westworld gave us the character Angela from the very beginning who is played by the incomparable Talulah Riley. While some may only know her as Elon Musk’s ex-wife, we know her as the host that introduced young William to Westworld upon his arrival.

She is the only child of Una Riley, who is a founder of a security systems company and Doug Milburn who used to be the head of the National Crime Squad. And while her father wasn’t involved with the industry before, he is now a screenwriter joining his daughter in the ranks of the industry.

Apart from Westworld, Riley has been seen in a number of movies and television shows over the years which include 2005’s Pride and Prejudice and Christopher Nolan’s Inception. She got her start back in 2005 with her stage debut in The Philadelphia Story.

If you watched Inception, you may remember seeing Riley who stepped in as the woman disguise for Tom Hardy’s character. It’s safe to say that she has made her rounds in both realms of the industry, and it’s a difficult feat to accomplish.

In interviews, Riley has spoken about her passion for understanding the world climate and the effects global warming has had on it. She’s also a sucker for quantum science, space, and got into physics as a result.

Her time on Westworld has been spent as multiple characters including the robotic host that welcomed young William into the park. She was later seen in a flashback Dolores had after reaching the center of the Maze, and then again when Teddy and the Man in Black found her unconscious.

We honestly love Talulah Riley and we hope she returns in season 3 of Westworld as Angela because her fleeting, on-again, off-again presence has been a welcome one–and we want more!
