Thandie Newton is out of this world–literally.

Thandie Newton tapped into her cosmic side for the NASA Breakthrough Prize Event over the weekend in Mountain View, California. Sporting a cosmic-inspired gown by Schiaparelli she looked absolutely stunning and breath-taking.

This event honors the top scientists and researchers of the world and joining Newton were other big-name stars including Orlando Bloom, Pierce Brosnan, and Lily Collins. It is quite the event that gathers the best of the best from all walks of life that have contributed to the world with their research and findings.

It comes as no surprise that Thandie Newton is at the front and center of many prestigious events considering the year she’s had between Westworld and her unexpected Emmy win. Now, with the Golden Globes coming up in January, there may be another award in Newton’s future (at least we hope so).

At the NASA Breakthrough Event that Newton and many others attended, gives away a $3 million prize in each category they award which includes Life Sciences, Fundamental Physics, and Mathematics. So not only do you walk away with such a grand prize, but you’re being watched and supported by some of the best actors and actresses in the industry!

It is certainly quite the star-studded event and a great honor to be recognized and awarded for the work that these scientists and researchers do that help explain the complex nature of the world we live in. Bravo!

While we wait for Westworld to return at some point in time, let’s take a moment to admire Thandie Newton in all her beautiful glory and wish her a very happy birthday!
