Richard Madden has enjoyed a lot of success since Robb Stark was killed at the Red Wedding. You can currently see him in the BBD drama Bodyguard, where he plays a British army vet suffering from PTSD:

The show ran as a six-episode limited series in the UK (and pulled in great numbers) before hitting Netflix for everyone else to enjoy. The show’s been such a hit that there’s a rumor going around that Madden could be next in line to play James Bond. Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Madden downplayed the chatter. “I try to avoid reading any of the tabloids,” he said. “It’s very flattering to have my name even mentioned in that conversation, but it’s all just hearsay to the best of my knowledge.”

"I worked really hard on this, and you never know how a job’s going to turn out or what’s going to come out of it. But people really enjoyed the show, which is brilliant, and if that leads to me doing this more and keep in this profession and keep working, then I’m really thankful for that."

So Bodyguard is getting Madden some respect…in most places. Below, speaking to KTLA 5 in Los Angeles, he recounted the time a Netflix employee denied him a bottle of water:

At least he got his chocolate croissant.

And the story gets better. As soon as Netflix learned about the incident, it sent Madden a gift-wrapped box full of Netflix-branded water bottles, complete with a cheery note that Madden shared on his Instagram Stories.

Oh, Netflix, you naughty streaming company, you.

Moving on, Pilou Asbæk (Euron Greyjoy) plays a villain (go figure) in the upcoming World War II zombie flick Overlord, from producer J.J. Abrams. The art for the movie is pretty intense:

“With only hours until D-Day, a team of American paratroopers drop into Nazi-occupied France to carry out a mission that’s crucial to the invasion’s success,” reads the official synopsis. “Tasked with destroying a radio transmitter atop a fortified church, the desperate soldiers join forces with a young French villager to penetrate the walls and take down the tower. But, in a mysterious Nazi lab beneath the church, the outnumbered G.I.s come face-to-face with enemies unlike any the world has ever seen.”

Overlord opens November 9, and also stars Game of Thrones cast member Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm). The film is currently enjoying an 87% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, so it looks like it might be worth a trip to the theater.

Finally, to brighten your day, here’s a photo of Carice van Houten (Melisandre) as a baby.

The morning is bright and full of ice cream.
