Avengers: Infinity War sequel could be three hours long
By Dan Selcke
Avengers: Infinity War was one of the most talked-about movies of the year. It’s the climax of 10 years of Marvel movies. It made over $2 billion at the box office. It killed Doctor Strange, Gamora and freaking Spider-Man. It’s a big damn deal.
And it’s only part one of a two-part story, with Infinity War: Part 2 being the most anticipated movie since…possibly ever. Director Joe Russo is counting on it, as he revealed during an Instagram chat that the current edit of the movie sits around three hours. If there’s any movie fans are willing to sit through without bathroom breaks for that long, it’s this one.
Although that might not stick. Russo said they’re about halfway done editing Avengers 4, which drops on May 3 of next year. But it’s not crazy for Disney to think it could get away with a three-hour runtime. Titanic, Gone With The Wind, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King are all around three hours, and they were wildly successful. I won’t make it without an aisle seat, though, for leg-stretching purposes.

In other Avengers news, Marvel Studios’ Head of Visual Development Ryan Meinerding tweeted out his original concept art for Captain America’s look in Infinity War. It’s less faded American flag and more gritty camo man:
Yay or nay? I’m at a half-yay.
