Clifton Collins Jr. of Westworld is all set to star in a recurring role on Hulu’s Veronica Mars revival.

Westworld is currently just one of many projects Clifton Collins Jr. has and will be a part of this past year, and to say he’s been busy is the understatement of the year. His immense talent is being appreciated and noticed by all, and it’s surpassed far beyond the walls of Westworld.

Earlier this week, Deadline reported that Collins Jr. will star in a recurring role in Hulu’s Veronica Mars revival! If you’re a Marshmallow and Westworld fan this is certainly super exciting news for you. The reboot will premiere in 2019 and is bringing back it’s titular character played by Kristen Bell.

Along with Bell, Veronica Mars alums Enrico Colantoni and Jason Dohring are also returning! The series had a three-season run on UPN and then on the CW from 2004-2007. In the 10-episode revival, spring breakers are getting murdered and it’s negatively impacting the tourist industry in Neptune.

Mars Investigation gets hired on by one of the victim’s parents to look into who is behind the murders which will throw Veronica into a mystery that goes beyond the spring break butchery. Collins will be playing a character named Alonzo–as a hitman for a Mexican cartel. His boss will send him to Neptune to kill whoever murdered his wife’s nephew.

Alonzo will face some interesting situations as he starts to doubt his choice of profession while falling for a local Neptune girl. And if the work he’s done on Westworld is any indication, we have no doubt that he will kill it in Veronica Mars–because he’s simply amazing!
