You can now buy Laura Palmer’s casket from Twin Peaks, you strange person

Remember Twin Peaks, David Lynch’s bizarre soap opera/acid trip from the early ’90s about a young girl murdered in a placid northwestern town? And remember the funeral scene, where Laura’s father broke down and flung himself on his daughter’s casket, and the machine that lowered it into the ground malfunctioned, and it was really awkward for everybody? Now, thanks to the fine people at TV Treasures, you have a chance to own that casket, with a starting bid of $1,000. You are very lucky, and a little strange.

And that’s just one of several TV props TV Treasures is auctioning off. You can also bid on Dana Scully’s autopsy goggles from The X-Files, a crystal ball from Charmed, copies of the Daily Planet newspaper from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, jewelry from the original Star Trek show, furniture from Six Feet Under, clothes worn by various people on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Jesse Pinkman’s drug paraphernalia from Breaking Bad, and so, so much more.

The auction begins on December 1. If you have a TV-loving relative, this is ground zero for Christmas presents.

Speaking of props for sale, someone in East Point, Georgia is selling the 1988 Volkswagen Cabriolet driven by Barb, may she rest in peace, from Stranger Things. Check out the craigslist listing.

Back when Jalopnik reported on this, the price was $15,000. Now it’s been cut in half, so if you wait for it, maybe you can get Barb’s car for a deal.
