Game of Thrones showrunners will be at CCXP in Brazil next week

Next week, pop culture fans will gather at the São Paulo Expo in Brazil for the Comic Con Experience (CCXP), a Brazilian offshoot of the San Diego Comic-Con. As at any con these days, Game of Thrones will have a presence. For example, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) will be there, signing autograph and answering questions, as will John Bradley (Sam Tarly).

And as the official Game of Thrones Twitter account just revealed, they’ll be joined by a couple of rarer birds:

Yep: Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss will be at CCXP. These two don’t make as many appearances at cons as they used to, so this could be significant. With the final season of the show just around the corner, might HBO be prepping us for a trailer, or something else big? We’re not sure, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled next Thursday through Sunday. You can buy tickets here.
