As it is at the movies, so shall it be on TV. Disney is laying the groundwork for its upcoming streaming service, Disney+, by using perhaps the greatest resource it has: Marvel superheroes. We already know they’re making one show about Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and another that pairs up Falcon (Anthony Mackie) with the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). Now, Deadline has revealed the name of a third show that will revolve around the superheroes Vision (Paul Bettany) and the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). It’s called…Vision and the Scarlet Witch.
That may not have been worth the lead-up.

Anyway, both Vision and Scarlet Witch died at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, which might make you wonder how they’ll be able to headline a limited series. Well, Falcon, the Winter Soldier and Loki all died, too, but they’re not letting it keep them down. Get ready for some series shenanigans in Avengers 4, coming into theaters May 3.
As for Vision and the Scarlet Witch, we don’t know what it’s about, although there have been a couple of comics miniseries by that name over the years, one in 1982 and another in 1985. In those comics, the pair fought everyone from Ultron to the U.S. government to Samhain, the spirit of All Hallows Eve, so Disney has options.
