The five most interesting characters from Fire & Blood

Fire & Blood, George R.R. Martin’s volume of Targaryen history, provides a detailed account of everything from Aegon’s Conquest of Westeros through the Dance of the Dragons, the Targaryen civil war that tore the realm apart. It tells the stories of people who shaped the Seven Kingdoms. Some of these people are mentioned on Game of Thrones or in A Song of Ice and Fire. Others are not, but as described by Archmaester Gyldayn, the “author” of the book, all of them come to vivid life.
