The third season of Stranger Things is set in the summer of 1985. It promises to be full of romance, mystery, and monsters from another dimension who live to eat your face.

For a while, we’ve known that the upcoming season would drop in the summer of 2019, but until now, we haven’t known the exact date. That changed on New Year’d Eve, when Netflix dropped a very creepy promo video. Watch:

Diehard fans may want to take note of some of the clues here to decipher later. The words “When blue and yellow meet in the West” flash across the screen around the 0:14 mark. I have no idea what it means. At 0:27, someone is running a program called “SilverCatFeeds.exe.” I have no idea what it means. For most of us, the most pertinent information comes at the end: the third season of Stranger Things will premiere on Netflix on July 4, 2019.

God, I love that ’80s-style poster.

Also notice that the New Year’s Eve celebration in the promo video is “brought to you locally by Starcourt Mall.” Starcourt Mall looks like it’s going to be a major new location in the third season. An earlier promo put it in the spotlight:

Also, a couple of the season 3 episode titles make reference to Starcourt Mall, including “The Mall Rats” — the second episode — and “The Battle of Starcourt,” the season finale. You can see the rest of the episode titles here.

And there we have it! The clock to Stranger Things season 3 is officially ticking.
