The internet reacts to Sansa meeting Daenerys
By Dan Selcke
HBO has released a new clip from the final season of Game of Thrones. It’s only a few seconds long, but when have we fans needed more than that to hope on the hype train?
Daenerys Targaryen arrives at Witnerfell and exchanges pleasantries with Sansa Stark, all while Jorah Mormont, Brienne of Tarth and Jon Snow look on. The internet promptly exploded:
Even the competition was hyped:
HBO also reacted to itself:
And just what did Sansa say to Daenerys? “Winterfell is yours, your Grace.” That’s pretty much what Sansa’s dad Ned Stark said to Robert Baratheon when that king visited Winterfell in the first episode of the series:

A sampling of their reactions:
Basically, it’s agreed: you could cut the tension in this scene with a dull butter knife:
Others focused more on Daenerys’ role in this meet-and-greet…
…while still others wondered about absent friends:
It looks like battle lines are being drawn, but there are those wonder: can’t we all just get along?
But not many!

Naturally, different people interpreted Brienne’s look differently:
And we can’t forget about Ser Jorah Mormont, just happy to be here:
Finally there’s Jon Snow. As with Brienne, how fans interpret his look changes from person to person:
And if you’re not invested in any of this stuff, you might have been more like this:
However you interpret this teaser, I can definitely get behind this next sentiment:
