Warner Bros. may be working on a Funko Pop! movie

Okay, folks, a Funko Pop! film may be in the works, a movie all about the little big-headed dolls modeled after figures from pop culture, including a ton from Game of Thrones. Your initial reaction may be to roll your eyes and wonder why Hollywood would bother with this, but just think about it. This news comes from SuperBroMovies reporter Daniel Richtman, who tweeted out a picture of a board detailing Warner Bros.’ animation plans for the next couple years:
As you can see, a label for Funko (and “Funkoville”) is right there in the upper left-hand corner, slotted in for 2019. There may also be a Jetsons movie in our future, but that’s for another article.

Slashfilm later confirmed that the Funko movie is legit through an anonymous source. It also reports that the movie will center around Wonder Woman, the Care Bears, Hellboy, Deadpool, Hello Kitty, Harley Quinn, Darth Vader and My Little Pony. That’s Marvel and DC characters, making nice and crossing over. It’s not live-action, but who cares when it’s this cute?
