One more pic from Game of Thrones season 8—This one’s pretty gooey

Earlier today, HBO released a slew of official photographs from the final season of Game of Thrones. But it saved the best—and most incestuous—for last. Here’s the final photo from the batch, taken by the inestimably talented Helen Sloan:

If this were a stock photo, the subtitle might read, “Young lovers look longingly into each other’s eyes shortly before learning they are close blood relations.”

But seriously, folks, this looks like it’s from the same scene as this pic:

Obviously, HBO isn’t releasing any information about these photos, but if I had to guess, I’d say we’re looking at Jon and Dany coming in sight of Winterfell. Maybe Dany is a little nervous about meeting Jon’s family (unaware that she’s part of it, hey-oooo), and Jon reassures her that she’s going to be fine.

Man, Game of Thrones season 8 is going to be weird, expensive, explosive, extremely interesting TV.
