John Bradley (Sam Tarly) coming to Con of Thrones 2019!

Just a couple of weeks after revealing that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Jaime Lannister himself, would be attending this year’s Con of Thrones, Mischief Management has announced that John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) will also be at the 2019 celebration of all things Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire.

Con of Thrones 2019 is shaping up to be a big one. It’s going down at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee on July 12-14, a mere month-and-a-half after the final season of Game of Thrones will have wrapped. Fans will undoubtedly need a place to mourn, reflect, and ask questions. It’s great to hear that they’ll be able to do it with the Kingslayer and Sam the Slayer, in addition to whoever else ends up visiting.

Speaking of, you have to wonder who else might come along. Con of Thrones has had some excellent guests before — I loved interviewing Hannah Murray (Gilly) at the 2018 event — but Bradley and Coster-Waldau have higher profiles than usual. Perhaps they’ll need a place to mourn, too. And if they want to bring Maisie Williams or Lena Headey or Peter Dinklage or whoever with them, that’d be great, too.
