Westworld season 3! During the recent TCAs, The Wrap spoke with HBO programming president Casey Bloys, and he had some exciting news for fans of the mind-bending series: production on the new season will begin in March (next month, yay!).

Bloys didn’t confirm if we’d see the series return this year or next, but our bets are on 2020. If nothing else, that’ll mean Westworld won’t have to compete with the final season of Game of Thrones this next awards season. That, and Westworld is a very complicated show that takes a long time to make. We want them to take their time and make sure the third season is epic.

The second season concluded in June of last year and left fans with a myriad of questions. Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), Bernard (Jeffrey Wright), and Charlotte (Tessa Thompson) are among a number of hosts who made it out of Westworld. What fresh havoc can they wreck on the human world?

Beyond that, we know that Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul will appear in season 3 in an unknown role. Will he be a robot? A Delos employee? A wandering guest from another park? Don’t you just love the limitless possibilities?

Westworld is known for regularly messing with our minds, and it wouldn’t come as a huge shock if some characters thoughts dead at the end of season 2 (Maeve Millay, for instance) somehow returned in season 3. But there’s one particular character we probably won’t see: Young William, the guy would grow up to be the Man in Black.

During the TCA panel for his upcoming series, Perpetual Grace, LTD, actor Jimmi Simpson talked about his Westworld character. “I believe, for now, Young William, his story is less of a focus there,” he said. When The Wrap spoke to him later on that day, he clarified that he had not been invited, as of yet, to join season 3. As is usual with this show, that leads to more questions, but we’ll hae to wait awhile for answers.
