Per Digital Spy, Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) is teaming up with Meryl Streep, RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Bob the Drag Queen, the cast of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’s and a bunch of other people for Heads Will Roll, a new Audible Original comedy series from Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon and her sister Emily Lynne.
That talent roster alone is enough to pique our interest. I didn’t even know there were Audible Original series. That means this is a voice-only project.
Head Will Roll revolves around the evil queen Mortuana and her “ditsy raven sidekick JoJo” who must find the prophesied Shard of Acquiescence to crush a peasant rebellion. What is happening?
Maisie Williams has also lined up a new gig, starring in a movie about teenagers who break into a house only to have the elderly owners turn the tables on them, per Screen Daily. Is it just me or does that sound a lot like the 2016 film Don’t Breathe.
Williams will play Mary, who’s against the plan to rob the elderly couple but goes along anyway. I mean, seriously, has no one seen Don’t Breathe?
We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming to bring you Emilia Clarke shooting a commercial for Dolce & Gabbana. And also Elle Magazine was there:
Finally, Richard Madden (Robb Stark) is starring in Rocketman, a biopic about Elton John. Madden plays John Reid, John’s longtime manager and, early in Elton’s career, his lover. The two parted ways in the ’90s, after it came to light that Reid was recklessly spending Elton’s money. Prepare for drama. Watch the trailer:
Between this and maybe being courted to play James Bond, Madden is killing it. Rocketman will be in theaters on May 31.
