Stranger Things is a little less than five months away, which doesn’t seem like much time considering how long it’s been since season 2. And as we inch closer to season 3, fans are getting antsy about what to expect. The cast has stayed pretty tight-lipped, but they’ve alluded to season 3 being big and bad and to brace ourselves for an epic bunch of episodes.

Recently, Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) spoke about the third season at the People Convention in Paris, per Roster Con. He didn’t say much at all besides this:

"There’s a lot going on. It’s crazy and your mind will be blown. It’s a very good ending."

Alright, Noah, we’re picking up what you’re throwing down, but is that all you got for us?

Even though Schnapp didn’t give away much, fans have been speculating about season 3 ever since Netflix dropped the episode titles back in December. One to hone in on is the finale, “Battle of Starcourt.” That refers to Starcourt Mall, a new location in season 3. Back in July, Netflix dropped a teaser with Joe Keery (Steve Harrington) and Maya Hawke (Robin) working at the Starcourt Mall in an ice cream shop called Scoops Ahoy:

Schnapp didn’t reveal anything specific about the mall, but he did recall filming with Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair) and Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) that involved sliding down escalators. All roads lead to Starcourt here.

In another interview, with Collider, McLaughlin recalled being on “a balcony thing” and doing something “with the colors.” It’s a very evocative way to tell us nothing. Still, we can safely assume that something major will go down in the finale, and we are so ready for it.
