American Gods releases ‘Olds Gods vs. New Gods’ featurette

American Gods is finally coming back! It’s been a long two years as the series underwent drastic changes with its showrunner, cast, and future. But with all that behind it, the series is ready to premiere its second season in just over a week. In anticipation for the premiere, Starz dropped a featurette this week per ComingSoon.net that illustrates the “New Gods vs. Old Gods” premise fans can look forward to in season two.

There is certainly a lot to recap and remember about the premiere season, and how that will play into the plot and story of this one. The friction between men and the Gods in season one will spill over into this season’s story and inevitably bring them new and old Gods to Cairo, Illinois. Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) will be following Mr. Wednesday’s (Ian McShane) lead as he ventures out to contact the Old Gods, and that will just be the foundation of what is to come.
